About Boyuan Tai Chi for Health Association

Our Story

Founded in 2015, the Boyuan Tai Chi for Health Association was born from a shared passion for Tai Chi and its transformative impact on health and well-being. In 2025, we proudly registered as a non-profit organization under NSW Fair Trading, deepening our commitment to community service and wellness education.

Our Philosophy

At Boyuan Tai Chi for Health Association, we believe in the holistic approach of Tai Chi, which helps to cultivate both physical and psychosocial wellbeing. We strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all our students and members.

About Us

Our Mission

Boyuan Tai Chi for Health Association Incorporated is a non-profit organisation committed to promoting health, wellbeing, and community connection through Tai Chi. We achieve this by:

  • Offering inclusive classes and workshops for all ages and abilities
  • Providing accessible health education through talks and outreach
  • Supporting research to raise awareness of Tai Chi’s health benefits


Our Approach

At Boyuan Tai Chi for Health Association, we believe Tai Chi is for everyone—regardless of age, fitness level, or background. Our mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where individuals can explore the benefits of Tai Chi at their own pace. We offer both in-person and online classes, designed to be accessible and flexible. Our teaching is person-centered and individualised, ensuring that each student receives guidance tailored to their unique needs, goals, and abilities.

Our Community

At Boyuan Tai Chi for Health Association, we are more than just a group of individuals practicing Tai Chi. We are a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for this ancient practice in combination with modern science, and a commitment to supporting one another on our individual journeys. Together, we cultivate not only skill, but also friendship, encouragement, and a sense of belonging.
